The second thing you need to consider is the location where you will place the garden bed. It is important that the bed be placed in a position where you can easily expose it to sunlight throughout the day.

This can be difficult if you are working with limited space. But many people will find that even with a small amount of sun exposure, an organic garden can thrive. Try to find the best place you can and make sure your garden is oriented in a north-south position to maximize all sun exposure.

Many people find that organic gardening is exciting and fun. That’s where the third step comes in – building the garden. If you are going to be performing raised bed gardening, build your box according to any of the instructions you can find online.

If you are going to be putting your flowers in the ground, make sure you dig down at least eight inches and fill the ground with the best possible mix of soil you can afford. You can do all of this if you know how to build an organic garden.

It’s important that before you put your garden down that you clear the area of anything that was there before. This is why it is recommended that you dig down about 8” and fill it with a new soil. Put a liner on the bottom to make sure the moles can’t come up into your plants. This will ruin your day.

If you have never worked on an organic garden before, it is a fun and rewarding experience. In no time at all you will have a thriving community of chatty plants in your back yard. You will enjoy the experience.

And if it was a vegetable garden, your bountiful harvests will please you and your friends for some time to come. There really is no experience like eating a fresh tomato sauce over gnocchi pasta made from potatoes that came from your organic garden. Isn’t it great to know how to build an organic garden?
